Who We Are

The Community First Movement (CFM) is rooted in the community movement that emerged in Klipspruit West as a direct response to decades of neglect, crumbling infrastructure, and political alienation. We build power street-by-street and block-by-block.

Our Vision

To restore the power of communities to govern, protect and uplift themselves; transforming neighbourhoods street-by-street, block-by-block into places of safety, pride, opportunity and belonging, united by active citizenship and shared responsibility.

Our Mission

To mobilise, organise and empower the residents of Klipspruit West, Eldorado Park and Eldorado Park Estates into a democratic political force that wins back control of local governance and puts community-led planning at the core of municipal action.
